Before the delivery of two thickness gauges via SMS Siemag AG to end-customer Aleris in Kentucky, a delegation of rolling mill engineers from USA and the German project manager visited MESACON production facility in Dresden, for a several days lasting user training.
MESACON® Messelektronik received an order of two new thickness measuring systems from Italian OEM. The Isotope based systems will be installed in entry section of a continuous pickling line.

MESACON® Messelektronik GmbH Dresden received an order from Romanian manufacturer of electrical steel ERDEMIR Romania to supply three layer coating thickness gauges in order to optimize the overall process of the insulation coating process. The system was successfully tested and will be delivered end of the year. The customer already uses successful MESACON® thickness measurement technology in a four-high rolling mill for more than 10 years.
Latest product of the MESACON research department is the 20kV X-Ray source, especially developed for aluminium and foil applications.
Since yesterday we exhibit on the fair Expo Usipa with our agency PrestMac in Brazil.
Since 10th of April 2014 we enlarged our existing worldwide network by an agency in Brazil. In the important Brazilian market MESACON is represented by the company PrestMac.
